CBPP parses the HR1 housing cuts

The housing end of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, led once again by Barbara Sard, posted a rundown yesterday on the Republicans' HR 1 budget cut proposal. "Adequate" funding for big programs like Section 8, they say, but bad cuts to "...various other important housing-related programs — including programs to help low-income veterans, people with disabilities, and senior citizens..."

Except that (cf. s'morning's item) if the big programs were really adequately funded we wouldn't need the little ones so very badly.
