Contrasts

Curbed tours fancy houses for sale in bankrupt American towns.... Housing advocate Tommi Mecca (Sara Shortt's colleague) finds himself blindsided and devastated by a 60 Minutes report on homeless families outside Disneyland... African Americans are taking refuge from "redevelopment and violence" by moving from the San Francisco Bay Area's urban cores to the region's farther suburbs and even the Sacramento area... at least 40 percent of houses under foreclosure in Stockton, California have tenants living in them.... and (via Inner City Press) Senator Dodd, formerly of the Senate Banking Committee and major Friend of Angelo, becomes head of the Motion Picture Association of America.

Funny old world. 'Night, all.
