Homeowners' relief can trickle up

Naturally, the angle in Reverse Mortgage Daily on the homeowners' relief program is how reverse mortgage lenders -- or rather, of course, their more struggling customers -- can get a piece of those payments.

Supposing, the article notes, that the relief program ever gets to happen, what with the new House Financial Services Committee already prepared to end it.

Honestly, these Visigoths in Congress make reverse mortgage lenders look almost public-spirited. At least the lenders aren't openly crowing over committee passage of a thing called "the Emergency Mortgage Relief Program Termination Act".
