HUD edges up its apartment mortgage limits

Not huge news, but HUD has slightly increased the limits, per unit, on the size of "multifamily" (apartment building) mortgages it is willing to insure. The limits are up from last year's by, very roughly, $1200 to $4000 per unit depending on type. HTML here, PDF here. Last year's PDF, for comparison, here.

Item thanks to the newsletter of the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association, which is run out of the same Washington office suite as the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders' Association. (Compare the contact information for NH&RA and for NRMLA.)
