Poor little Texas mortgage lenders "escape" a "crushing" consumer protection bill

Unseemly expressions of relief from the lending industry on escaping the "crushing financial effect" of a bill that would have given heirs of HECM borrowers a 15-year grace period to repay their family members' loans.

...So make up your own zinger here, a and lot of use it'll be. Mortgage lenders don't do irony.
