Everybody knows someone with a fraud story

Got chatting with a small-town banker today. She had a story about a foreclosure-related document that was forged at another bank in her area, dated after the death of the borrower who supposedly approved it.

What's offensive isn't that fraud happens. Of course fraud happens. What's offensive is that the people who take people's houses think they can be lazy and obvious about cutting corners to do the taking.
