Emptying public housing via one-strike

The Chicago Reporter does some good angry investigative journalism on Chicago efforts to empty public housing by using "one-strike" evictions to evict whole families for individual members' minor drug offenses. It follows Jessica Moore, mother of six, through one such eviction, among many in the main remaining building of Chicago's Near North Side projects.
"Cook County Sherriff’s police hauled the last bit of broken furniture out of her apartment on June 30, 2010. Nine months later, the Burling high-rise was demolished."
