So if she had been only 99, what then?

HUD buys foreclosed house containing 101-year-old lady, evicts her, then gets around to a convincing display of mortification, courtesy of gifted spokesman Brian Sullivan, who has been expressing suitable emotions in great variety on behalf of HUD since at least the early Bush II era. It seems her 64-year-old son had let her reverse mortgage go into default.

Can't see why we are shocked, shocked that the eviction happened despite the age of the lady. The shocking part is that, if the son had been in the home alone, HUD would have done what it does and we wouldn't have heard a peep of this.
