ACLU takes on Border Patrol profiling in WA

Stories about Border Patrol highhandedness have been coming out of northern Washington State for a long time. It's about time they had to answer some questions in court.

Especially in light of that proposal made last year to exempt the Border Patrol from environmental laws near both the northern and southern borders, in places that would have included Olympic National Park. Not sure what became of it except that online news and activist postings on the subject fade out around November 2011, and one of the more extreme versions, HR 1505, seems to have fizzled per THOMAS lookup.
