One more at Global Urbanist about encampments

Editor Kerwin Datu posted my third and last article in a series on U.S. informal housing at Global Urbanist early this morning. This one is a review of encampment communities and their different levels of acceptance in U.S. cities.

I'm sad to find that, looking along a fair swath of the West Coast, San Francisco is not exactly a beacon of innovation. The smart stuff is being done in the Northwest.
