Yes, an outdoor public faucet in San Francisco.

For all this city's effort to discourage homeless people from living visibly in public places, pictured is an actual public tap, in an actual public park (Yerba Buena Gardens, no less) for filling drinking-water bottles with filtered water. For homeless people, free drinking water is a valuable and health-sustaining resource, not always easy to arrange.

A consequence, I would think, of prior San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom's sustained peeve against environmental wastage caused by the bottled water industry. Strangely enough, the water  is free. It doesn't even require validation from Macy's.
